RVF has worked with the Palestinian Ministry of Health (PMOH) to deploy mobile medical clinics to provide health care to remote Bedouin populations in the West Bank. Though the PMOH has many free-standing clinics throughout the West Bank, many Bedouin families cannot access these sites because of prohibitive transportation costs required to bring them from their remote and isolated locations to the health centers.
Though RVF has helped the PMOH introduce mobile clinics to help reach these remote populations, there are not enough clinics to reach all the communities in a timely way. The infrequency of access to the mobile clinics is especially problematic for rotavirus vaccination for children and other important time-sensitive care including prenatal checks.
Please help RVF expand the mobile clinic program so that all babies and mothers can receive timely care.
