We are deeply saddened by the recent loss of Madame Galina Vishnevskaya (25 October, 1926- 11 December, 2012). In addition to her many accomplishments as a world-famous musician, as co-founder of the RVF Madame Vishnevskaya helped improve the health and future of nearly 20 million individuals. Under the leadership of her daughter Elena Rostropovich we are committed to continuing to support the vision of Madame Vishnevskaya and Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich of a world in which the health of children is a top priority.
