RVF (Rostropovich-Vishnevskaya Foundation) began its work in Russia after being founded by Mstislav Rostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya in 1991. Although RVF is no longer active in Russia, RVF worked to improve the health and future of children in Russia for many years with funding from USAID, JSI and Pfizer among others.
